My Money Is Always Loyal

Technique
Mixed media on canvas
Dimensions
40 × 30 cm

The ground is built from hundred dollar bills that are not bills at all: movie money, marked in its own fine print as worthless. Above it flies someone who does not make the distinction, thinking a sentence people would rarely say this openly about people. Loyalty, reliability, friendship — every one of them a word applied here to the only thing that knows none of them. It is the smallest format in the series and the loudest sentence in it.
